Speech-Language PathologistSaima Latif, Speech-Language Pathologist has had comprehensive experience working with children ages 2-18 for over a decade. She has been an active member of our team since 2015.
She has completed a variety of professional education in:
- Oral Placement Therapy (Level 3)
- Myofunctional Disorders
- Hanen: It Takes Two to Talk
- Lidcombe program
- ABA approach
- PROMPT (introduction & bridging)
- Kaufman Speech to Language Protocol for Apraxia
Saima’s speciality includes working with children with a diagnosis such as: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Learning Disabilities, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, Trisomy 21, Speech language & motor speech delay. Saima uses a multi-sensory approach and adapts each therapy sessions to her client’s unique learning style. She optimizes the activities to allow the child to be excited and engaged about learning in various contexts.
Outside of the therapy room, Saima enjoys spending time with her family and travelling.
